1. HEAT THE WAX (during cold winter months only)
- Remove lid and protective film from jar and please in microwave
- Heat Kimika wax for 15 second intervals.
- Stir to soften the sugar wax.
- Wax is ready to use when it is the consistency of warm honey.
- Test temperature by applying a small amount of the wax to the inside of the wrist. Wax should be warm, NOT hot.
- Heating times will vary depending on microwave wattage and amount of wax in the container.
2. CLEANSE THE SKIN
- To achieve optimal results, remove all traces of oil, cream, lotion, moisturizer, or perspiration.
- Apply Kimika cleanser to cotton pad and cleanse area to be waxed.
- Blot area dry.
3. HAIR REMOVAL
- Remove wax from jar with wood spatula and twirl spatula to prevent dripping.
- In the direction of the hair growth, apply an ULTRA-THIN layer of wax on the skin.
- Immediately place the strip on the layer of wax and press firmly on the strip.
- Make sure strip is placed 1cm beyond wax area to create an edge for the strip removal.
- Hold skin taught with one hand and with the other hand pull, strip quickly in opposite direction of the hair growth.
- Strip must be pulled back parallel to the skin, in opposite direction, NOT in upward direction.
- Immediately apply pressure to waxed area to relieve any potential discomfort.
- Reuse the wax strip, during the application, up to 3 times.
4. AFTER WAXING CARE
- Apply Kimika post waxing lotion to soothe and protect skin.
- Any residue remaining on the skin can easily be removed with our Kimika wax off dry body oil.
- The Kimika exfoliating glove should be used weekly to remove dead skin cells and prevent ingrown hairs.
